Extra Curricular Activities

Extra Curricular Activities

In the school, all students participate in co-curricular activities. Through core activity groups, the school seeks to facilitate students who show promise of strong aptitude and interest in any sporting or non-sporting activity to focus and build on such competencies.
This system would help develop students in the core activity group for sporting activities to progress to the school sports teams that compete inter-scholastically.
The core activity groups for sporting activities include throw ball, badminton, cricket, table-tennis and volleyball, while the core activity groups for non-sporting activities are planned for Indian and Western Performing Arts (both vocal and instrumental), dance, drama, and art.

Media Skills

Fundamentals to the development of a strong and confident personality are the need to be able to express yourself clearly, knowledge and confidently and with conviction in a variety of situations.
Nothing helps channelize this more than a basic training in Media Skills. In fact, careers in the Media are becoming more lucrative and sought than ever before.

Theatre

We live in a world where the ability to communicate becomes more important and one of the most effective ways of communicating, whether to motivate, inform or simply entertain, is by public speaking. Many students have opportunities to communicate this way, yet hesitate to do so because of inexperience or most likely nervousness.

Performing Arts

Art, in any form, is not seen as something apart from life, a mere ornamentation or entertainment, but as an intrinsic part of it.
Schooling at JAIN School goes beyond the classrooms into the wider creative world outside. Apart from a keen focus on academics, students are engaged in varied creative activities that enhance their mental and intellectual faculties.
Confidence building, personality development, and artistic skill are taught to our students, who delve into the artistic details with great enthusiasm and eagerness.
Festivals and presentations held from time to time in the school are occasions to showcase budding talent in the school and also keep them rooted to their culture. Undoubtedly, the pursuit of such creative activities adds another meaningful dimension to school life.

Arts & Crafts

Art is a rendering of the world and one’s experience within it. In this process of creating art forms, we encourage our children to consider the visual arts as an area to create content, impacting and being impacted by other areas of learning, to ensure they develop artistic skills that are relevant in this visual age.
